A national level conference on “Trends in Electronics, Instrumentation, Embedded systems and Automation” was held on 28^th February 2009 . The solicited major themes of this conference are contributions devoted to the evaluation, optimization or enhancement of system design. Papers reporting original research results in the areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Digital VLSI and Embedded System Design and implementation was invited. DR. T.C.R Ramakrishnan, Neurologist ,KG hospitals inaugurated the conference and S.N Deepa , Assistant Professor, Anna University, Coimbatore gave a the inaugural speech on Neural networks. Around 15 innovative papers were presented in trends’09.
