Karunya signs MoU with Vi Microsystems, CHENNAI

             Yet another milestone  for Karunya  University as it signed a MoU on 25/09/2008 with M/S. VI Microsystems, Chennai, the leader  in  manufacturing engineering products and training equipments for technical institutes.

             The Electronics and Instrumentation Department of Karunya has developed a Bio-Impedance Measurement Module which ushers in non-invasive measurement procedure for measurement of Body Fat percentage, Fat mass, Fat free mass and Body Mass Index(BMI) for the whole body. The above project has been filed for Indian Patent. M/S .Vi Microsystems, Chennai has shown keen interest to manufacture Bio-Impedance Measurement Module for the Bio-medical instrumentation laboratories.
