The Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching curriculum is designed for those who are seeking entry-level ICT jobs or plan to pursue more specialized ICT skills. CCNA Routing and Switching provides comprehensive coverage of networking topics, teaches detailed networking concepts and skills, from basic networking to more complex enterprise and theoretical networking models in the curriculum. The curriculum is appropriate for students at institutions, including universities, colleges, career and technical schools, community organizations, and non-traditional learning environments.

The department offers IBM professional certification course on IBM Cloud Platform Application Development. The course is handled by the faculty who has undergone the training by the IBM professionals. Twelve of the department faculty has undergone the training and around 120 students have undergone the certification training during the academic year 2016-17.
