Research ( Networking )

The Networking Research Group aims to strengthen the networking research community with adequate knowledge and to encourage the researchers to sprout out with interesting innovations to the welfare of the society. The Networking Research Group members fervently work by conducting National Seminars, Workshops, Faculty Training Programme and Faculty Development Programme as a Intra-college and Inter-college event in various areas of the field of Networking. One such contribution that has been conducted by the Networking.


Research Group is the Faculty Training Programme on ‘Wired and Wireless Simulations in NS2 and Ubuntu’ on 26.11.2009 at Computer Technology Centre, Karunya University. The Faculty Training Programme aimed at providing a deep insight into NS2 with hands-on training at free of cost. The faculty members and research scholars from various departments of Karunya Univeristy have participated in this Programme.


Many seminars have been conducted amongst the members of the research group about the recent technologies in various areas of the research field. Many forthcoming events like Faculty Development Programme and Worshops on wired and wireless networking have been planned during the academic year 2010. The research group members are also earnestly working with the focus of submitting proposals to the Government funding agencies like DST, DSR, UGC etc and also has got many interactions with other networking communities and companies to have adequate knowledge exchange.
