    INFRASTRUCTURE

    The state of the art Bioinformatics Research lab houses a high speed server and 250 terminals with round-the-clock internet connectivity . It is also equipped with novel bioinformatics working platform like Schrodinger modeling and drug design suite, DNA Dynamo software, GCG, Discovery studio and so on. This caters as not only the research platform to our students and faculty but also provides consultancy revenue by offering projects to others throughout India. The department has independent well equipped wet and dry labs like Biochemistry Lab, Biological sequence analysis, Molecular modeling, Structural bioinformatics, QSAR lab, DBMS, C, C++, Perl and Python lab. There is an independent library and a reading room in the department which caters the needs of the students and faculty.

    B.Tech Bioinformatics - Entry Level Qualification :

    A pass in +2 or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology

    M.Tech Bioinformatics - Entry Level Qualification :

    B.E / B.Tech in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Information Technology / Computer Science / Instrumentation / BioMedical [OR] B.Pharm [OR] M.Sc in Life Science / Computer Science

    M.Phil / Ph.D Bioinformatics - Entry Level Qualification :

    Master degree in Life science/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology / Computer science/ Pharmacy / Medicine / Mathematics

    SHORT-TERM / CERTIFICATE / ADD-ON COURSES
