IEEE Students Chapter Karunya University
Inauguration
The IEEE students chapter of Karunya University
was inaugurated on January 2002,by Dr.Paul Dhinakaran (Founder KU).
Members
The chapter has a total membership of 77 students
from the departments of Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics,
Electronics & Instrumentation, Production, Civil, Mechanical, Information
Technology and Computer Science Engineering.
Ms.Nita Samson IV ECE, was elected as the
Secretary of the chapter. The members of the IEEE students chapter are involved
in various projects and paper presentations at various Conferences & Symposiums.
A number of faculty of KITS are IEEE members
serving as a strong foundation for the KU IEEE Chapter.

The projects are done with technical co-operation
from various industries in the respective fields. The chapter has been
instrumental in pioneering the development of technical knowledge and skills at
KITS.The IEEE chapter also provides an excellent environment to technical
development for the students and staff members by arranging for seminars,and
technical meets.The chapter is planning to organize several programmes and also
support new projects in the future.
